Default missing and backfiring @ high rpm

hey i was wondering if anyone could help me? i have a 1998 t/a and it backfires and misses @ high rpm. i know it not a ignition issue but thats about all i know. is there anything else that can cause this problem?

how do you know its not a ignition issue?.....it deff. could be a bad plug

Either bad plugs or bad wires. My car used to backfire at upper rpms when i would go WOT. Turns out my plugs were fine but one of my MSD wires were all fucked up.
