bad plugs?
It doesnt always do that, but last night in 3rd gear it barely would go over 4500 rpm's @ WOT.SES light came on.
Its also running rich and backfires alot. SES light came on last night, checked the codes p0157 and p0137. these are the rear 02', but rear 02 wont cause this right?
Could it be plugs/wires or should i just take it to a shop and have them figure it out?

The MAf sensor is located on the intake tube, between the intake lid and the throttle body. Its a black plastic housing with 2 wiring harnesses coming off of it. Unplug the harnesses, remove it from the intake, and clean it with CRC Mas Air Flow Cleaner spray. Do not use anything else besides that spray to clean it, other cleaners/chemicals will damage the element.
If its still acting up, after doing all of that, your cats are probably plugged up. GM had a recall on the cats of certain year LS1 F-Bodys, check with your dealer to see if your is involved in the recall. If its not covered under warranty, unbolt the catalytic converters from the manifolds, start the car, and take ir for a quick drive. If it runs normally (just loud), you've found the problem.
Goo luck.
