Dirty oil?
Dirty oil? Alright, I use mobil 1 full syn 0w40
I usually change it on 3k mile intervials, but the oil is good for around like 8k i think.. I use delco filters. I have around 1500-2000 miles on this change and I checked the oil yesterday, which btw, is still perfect, car doesnt use any oil
and its looking pretty dirty, and I've noticed at my 3k mile changes, its always BLACK, and its supposed to be good for 8k.... Whats going on here, just cheap filters?

black oil means that its doing its job, the oil turns black from a combination of the cleaning additives and the little bit of carbon that gets passed the rings its completely normal for it to be black after 3000 miles
