Default headlights

for some reason my headlights flicker at random times any idea on what this is? nothing else electrical in the car shows any signs of this.

Camaro or Bird? If its a bird check the connector on the back of the sealed beam headlight. They sometimes start rattling loose.

It might be your alternator or your battery is not well charged.

this is a common issue, it happens in my bird, almost like a pulse....i wouldnt worry about it unless it happens a good amount then i would look in to replacing the ALT

the car is a 98 camaro and the headlights dont dim or anything like an alternator problem. i noticed it going down a hill at about 40mph not touching the gas and the headlights automatically on, not witht he switch on, and its like they turn off for a split second. my friend in front of me noticed this too, he said he noticed it about 8 times in the matter of the 2 miles to my house. pretty strange.
