why do camaros with ttops rattle so much?

why do camaros with ttops rattle so much? My car rattles like its gonna fall apart. Its a 00 ss with t tops , and it sounds like its from the 40's. Its worse in the winter. I pride myself in taking good care of my car, but i guess i overlooked this one. Is there any advise or any parts that seem to rattle more than others on these cars that u guys can think of. Other than the t tops , i cant think of what else it is. kinda hard to get your ear next to the source , and drive at the same time. thanks

The inside of my car doesn't rattle at all. Al the rattling comes from the outside, but that comes from using cheap shocks on a lowered car. Other than that I have no complaints on the ride of my daily driver. I need to save up for the konis big time.
Is it the t-tops itself rattling? I know you can take apart the t-top and see if something's a miss inside the thing itself. I remember on my frist Trans AM it rattled like nobody's buisness until I cracked out the dubya-dee fordy.

I wonder how much more it would rattle if you installed poly motor and trans mounts?!?!
It sounds ghetto, but you could fatten up the area where the t-top makes contact with the vehicle. That should tighten it up and make it less prone to rattle. Maybe some thin weatherstripping?
