You dont need to pull all of that off for a plug change. You just need a few different sized socket extentions and swivels.

If you insist on pulling the coil bracket though I got to it with the socket. Stay patient and take your time. And once you get that one off do not put that back bolt back in, it makes it so much easier for the next time.

its even a pain in the *** to take the wires off, are you supposed to push those metal springs things in and then pull the boot?

No just give them a hard pull.

twist them a bit, youll need a deep socket and you should be able to get that last bolt....when you put the panel back on, leave that bolt out.....it is alot easier to change plugs when you have that panel out of the way....

I got that last coil bracket bolt on the passenger side with a 10mm gear wrench.........then I calmly walked out of the garage and threw the bolt as far as I could

Box end 10mm, stay calm, little turns and just loosen it up, quite a bit but not enough get it all the way off. With the box end I did it by feel. Gotta kind of lay over the top of the engine, rest, do more. Tilt the coil rail up out of the way. I know a lot of guys just leave the bolt off, but I'm keeping mine intact. I was worried I might get a rattle if I tossed it. And really, really, toss the damn stock wires with the metal tubes and springs. Put some 8mm or 10mm's on. Taylors are good and easy to get on and off, you don't need the heat shields that the stock ones have. Use the dielectric grease so they come of next time. Oh, and everyone gets pissed off changing wires. The second time will be soo much easier.

I meant plugs, not wires.

You are destined to put that bolt back in at some point.
