voltage help
voltage help so my car seems to have some voltage problems, the meter on the dash read real lowon the redline. The battery is fine and the alternator is fine. The car has problems starting and the lights flicker low to high, the starter is working fine but i cant figure out what is wrong.
any help is appreciated

Most of the charging system problems turn out to be wiring or connections. Start by removing and cleaning all of your connections - battery, ground at the fender, alternator, starter.
The voltage regulator is in the alternator and that's what makes the lights go bright and dim - but it is because the charge circuit is cycling on and off.
After you get everything clean and tight, put a volt meter on the battery and see what you read, with the car off and then with the car running.

After the last time I went to Autocross, I had the same thing start happening. Then it went away by itself... pretty sure it's an intermittent connection and it will be back to bite me in the *** eventually.
I had the same problem. Check your connections first and clean them. I had flickering lights syndrome as well and had to replace the alternator. It would charge with some RPM but wouldn't at idle. Pretty sure it was the regulator acting up. Be prepared to replace the alternator. Mine was about the same age as yours when it went out.
