Default sputtering when accelerating rapidly

i just bought my z-28 about a month ago and have already encountered several problems.one thing is when i hit the gas when i am at low rpm's but in 3rd or higher gear it sputters. auto zone says my o2 sensors are reading lean. i also have an exhaust leak on the passenger side exhaust manifold. could all of this be linked together and where do i start? thanks

the ignition is working hardest @ low rpms and high load. In both camaros I've owned, a plug and wire change fixed the sputtering. You also might want to do a seafoam service.

EDIT- and don't take advice from autozone. They are good for parts and code-reading.
