Default Torque ratings...

I don't have a Torque Wrench that goes down to a few inch pounds... if something is say, 89 inch pounds... can I just divide by 12 and get the approximate foot pound rating? Or does it not work like that

Divide by 12. Good luck finding a wrench that goes down to 7 ft lbs.

Thanks. I guess for the intake I should just make 'em hand tight (since they are even LOWER than 89, 44 IIRC?)? My brother has one at his shop but he said just go hand tight and I should be fine.
