Default RTV silicone?

Quick question...I'm changing the rear end fluid today and wondering how long you guys usually let the RTV silicone setup/cure before adding fluid? On every vehicle I've usually at least let it sit over night to 24 hours before adding fluid, is the over kill?

Thanks

seams the search is not working right now. So how much limited slip additive do I need to add in the stock rear end? I have a bottle from Autozone that is 7 oz. Is this enough?

Thanks

On the back of the bottle says with every.. you should add 1 bottle of this to it. I put the whole thing in and had no problems along with the gear fluid. I put a good beed around the cover and let it sit for 10 min. or so then slapped it back on and bolted it up. No leaks at all and better yet no gear whine.
