Default Lid

my lid "latch" i guess is the term keeps on coming undone. Everytime i open my hood i see it undone, so i clamp it back on, then the next time i go open the hood its the same way again. Is there away to fix it, or do i have to buy a new lid????

have ya tried bending the lip on the latch some more to make it a little tighter? sounds like the latch might have just been bent the wrong way at one point.

Do you know this for sure??? I didnt think so.

All lids for the most part have fitment issues. Just try and wiggle it around, make sure the back tabs are all the way in the slots, as well as making sure the lid is slid back into to place over the filter. It takes some messin with. If the lid is sitting to far forward, this will cause the clamps to flip open. If need be you could trim your bellow to allow the lid to sit properly, if that is your bellow is to long.
