Need Help
Need Help My cd changer had been giving me issues for a couple of days.....so on friday i was driving and it just quit working again. the radio would work but not the cd player...it gave me the error message. so i pull over, pull radio fuses and put em back, and it started working again. well a minute later all my gages died. i pulled all of em out again and put em back ( i doubled checked all of em ten times, all the fuses are in the right places). as of right now, only my battery guage works....and that too only on occasions....i took it to the shop and they said my alternator is fried....and it might be true, actually i needed to replace it anyways.....so the car is in the shop.....we charged the battery and nothing still comes on.....is this normal, that just becoz the alternator is out that nothing would work.....i mean the AC works, but none of the guages, odometer, spedometer....nothing!!! anybody have that problem.....also the security light comes on from time to time.....
