Default E-Brake not working

Just like the title says. When i pull on it, nothing happens. It is probably something simple, but just wondering if anyone would have some input before i start tearing things apart.

If your car has rear disc the adjuster for the E-brake is in the rear brakes under the rotors...One on each side.

Maybe you broke a cable or something in the lever is not working? Does it sound normal when you pull up on it?

The lever sounds normal when i pull on it. I didn't know that there was an adjustment on the back. I will check that out. Thanks a bunch!
