Default Brake booster failure..............

Does it just fail?

Or does it slowly die over time causing vaccum problems?

My engine runs friggin perfect, but than out of nowhere at a traffic light or when I take my foot off the gas pedal to slow down, it will just shut off dead?

Also, on initial start-up, even after its warmed up, it surges up and down for about 1 minute, then chills out.

What the ****!!!!

(And don't get me started on the piece of **** "search" feature)

try spraying the holes in the top of your throttle body (idle air control) with some TB cleaner, should fix the problem.

Hmmm, what does that do? Does stuff build up in there causing the IAC not to seal right?

I'll try it.

No, it doesn't seal. It allows air past the throttle plates when they're closed at idle. With too much crap in there it will go crazy trying to find the right idle point.
