#8 Defeated!!! Just did my plugs and wires today.NGK tr55s(.055) and msd 8.5 wires.Let me say
The drivers side took no more than 12 minutes.Now its my first time on a LS1, and only due to my pals long,skinny arms and mechanical talents was the passenger side finished.We only unbolted 1 airhose and that was it.Worked from the front to the back removing the plugs,then as #8 reared its head,we knew this was gonna suck.
What ended up working(again,we only undid 1 airhose)from the bottom,by popping the metal boot with a long screwdriver.We then used elec tape to secure the socket,extension and rachet.From the top we finally got it loose!!!Slapped the wires on from the back to the front and thats all she wrote.TOTAL TIME:2.3 hrs on the first try!
