How do you guys charge these batteries? Do you use the deep cycle function on the charger or the regular?

Red tops are not deep cycle batteries. Yellow and blue are. I would just use regular.

Take it to autozone...drop it off for a few hours..go have some lunch or jerk off..stop by and pick up your battery when done. They do all the work and your don't waste electricity at your home.
