Power steering pump options...?
Power steering pump options...? So what are my options for replacing my power steering pump, can I use one from an LS1 corvette? or only from LS1 F-body's?
Are GM's power steering pumps to some extent universal by any chance? What about LT1's?
I don't want to spend 250$ for a new pump...
Also considering installing a universal air-to-oil power steering cooler, any thoughts?

Does the new pump come with a new pulley? Probably not I would assume.
Any advice on the power steering cooler idea? Would it be worth it? Trying to avoid another power steering failure, pretty much every part of the system failed on me.

Nope pulley doesn't come with it nor does the fluid tank but its not hard to swich the tank over now the pully you are gonna need a puller/installer to switch it over. I also had to go out and get a 13mm ratchet wrench to put the pump back on cause its in a tight spot...i ended up having to tighten one of the bolts from the bottom. I have no idea about the cooler.
