o2 sensor problem
o2 sensor problem ok so i got bored this weekend and put some o2 simulators on and decided to lose the cats. The exhaust shops around here were being bitches. In oklahoma we dont have emissions but the exhaust shops still get fined if they get caught removing cats. So, i decided to take them off and hollow them out. I used some penetrating oil on the bolts and threads and i think i contaminated one of my o2 sensors. It is saying bank 2 sensor one. If i did f#$k up the sensor can i swap it for one of the back ones that i no longer need? My car is surging and idling kinda low and im sure it isnt good for gas mileage. Any help is much appreciated.
swap o2 sensors? If if do have operating sensors in the front and o2 simulators after the cats will i still have problems or should it be ok? I can deal with the ses light til i get it tuned but it is kinda running like s#@t! I only gutted the cats to get an idea of what it was going to sound like when i put long tube headers on and an off road y pipe.
