Default Right headlight "higher" than the left

I just did the headlight fix by Brent Franker (http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/headlightfix/index.htm) on a `98 Trans Am. Now, whenever the lights are up, the right headlight, which needed the fix, is not up as high as it used to be. I know because I can no longer see the top of the right headlight from the driver`s seat when the lights are up, and the light beam itself is pointing down. This wasnt a problem before the fix. The headlight seems to operate just fine otherwise. I tried manually cranking the right headlight up hoping it would be up higher when it is up, but apparently it self-adjusts. Any ideas?

there is a white tab where the headlight arm and the shaft bolt is, have the arm go below the white tab. then raise manually to see if that fixes it.

its kind of hard to explain when you get there you will see what im talking about.

I`m of the theory here. Are you saying this may be happening because the arm is going over top of the white tab when it should be going under, and thus not allowing the full travel, stopping the light from going up all the way?
Thanks for the help.

yep when the headlights go up and down the arm is getting caught on the tab making it think its open all the way but its not.

if that dont work look at the other headlight and compare the two to see what is the difference between the two but i bet that is the problem.

No luck. I check both, even looked at the positions of the bolts on the top of the assembly. No luck. The control arms are moving the exact same way, and appear to have the exact same distance of travel. I tried manually adjusting it up further with the ****, but it wont go up any further. It doesnt seem like anything is blocking the way. I even tried adjusting the two bolts on the top of the radiator support just behind the headlight assembly, but this only moved the bottom of the headlight assembly away from the front bumper when the lights are down, which looks funny (too much of a gap) when compared to the other headlight. This is happening on my Firehawk too. Anyone have any ideas how to adjust these friggin things to make them go up further? Any online resources for adjusting these things?
