need help i have a 00 ss m6. while driving in 6th at less than 1500 rpm the car is reall jerky and runs like crap. and sometime the rpm gauge will just drop to 0 but the car is still running, after a lil while it goes back up. i am also getting a slight misfire but no codes are coming up. i have no idea what is happening, so if someone does, please let me know what it could be so i can try to fix it.
what speed are you running at in 6th? You might not be going fast enough to keep the engine in the right RPM range. If I'm going 50 in 6th the engine runs about 900-1000 RPM's and has no power at all. I usually don't even use 6th unless I'm going over 60

i dont go into sixth until about 60, but like i said, if it is under 1500 rpm, it runs like ****, it is all jerky and the rpm gauge starts acting up then just drops to 0 while running, it also misfires everynow and then without a code. and under hard excelleration once the motor died and started backfiring really loud, i started it back up and it was fine, i'm thinking possible tuning problem or something with either the cam or crank position sensor.
