whats wrong?

yesterday i finished putting my new brakes and rotors on. i took the car for a theride around block to make sure that they worked. as i was on my way back the car sounded like it shut down and there was no throttle response at all and then the car fired up with out me doing anything. it kept doing the same thing over and over again. i had a full tank of gas so i no thats not the problem. any ideas???

i figured the "advance" part should give me "advanced" input
