Vibration and Clunk

Vibration and Clunk At low rpm's (i.e. 1000 - 2000) in any gear (most noticeable in 2nd and 3rd) if I hit the gas the car shudders. If I SLOWLY accelerate it's fine. What could it be? The fluid in the 10 bolt is good. Driveshaft out of balance? U-Joint? I have no idea.
Also something else that may be related is there is a clunking when the car downshifts and when accelerating normally from a stop sometimes.
