Default No high beams??

Isnt my car supposed to have highbeams?? Its a 96 t/a, and I've never really known how the highbeams are supposed to turn on. On my steering column there isnt even a button of some sort to turn them on. I've also noticed a loose bar(perhaps for turning something on) on the steering column, would that be a clue to my problem here??

pull the turn signal lever towards you. That will turn them on.

Hmmmm...... nothing happens on mine when u pull the lever towards you, I think it may be broken somehow. I think that broken tab link may be part of it.

I don't want to sound like an ***, but how do you own a trans am, or any car for that matter without ever having turned your high beams on? Even if you don't drive it at night, don't you like to play with all the bells and whistles of a car when buying it haha
