Default Front Windshield Crack

I got a small crack in my windshield, has anyone ever had this problem and fixed it themselves with some sort of glue to prevent further cracking. IF so can you tell me what it's called and where to get it.
thanks

I would take it to a windshield repair shop.If the crack is small enough, they can stop it from spreading...I wouldn't mess with it myself, may make things worse??

I had 2 dings on my front windshield on the TA up till last year, passangers side, and they never spread....but they did annoy me! Then finally one hit the drivers side - now I have a problem. :-)

So off to the insurance company. I found a local glass shop that specilized in OEM Factory glass replacement. I was a nervous wreck when they went to replace the glass. But I have to say, they did an A+ job!

The glass is OEM, same blue tint on the top, same small stripe of a dot pattern on the sides, ect. Plus I bought a warranty with the new glass, since I've had such bad luck with rocks & stones.
