Drivebelt problem

My drivebelt keeps coming off under extremely hard acceleration. Any way to stop this? I replaced the belt recently but each time I floor it to pass someone or whatever the belt comes off. But it only happens under hard acceleration.

Any help is appreciated.

check the tensioner...and also make sure you dont have any ribs broken on the pulleys or any are warped...etc

Yeah this kept happening to me with my third gen until I discovered the power steering pulley was bent which kept shredding belts. Make sure everything is straight and has no sharp edges

Check your belt tensioner and make sure that it is holding the belt tight enough. I had that same problem a while back on my Camaro and it turned out to be the tensioner.
