Default Which wire to connect too? Alternator

Can u tell me which wire to connect too for my exciter wire?

From left to right numbered 1, 2, 3, 4. My current one that my friend did is connected on the 3rd wire. Just double checking.

I believe you are right on the third wire.

2nd wire from the left with the clip part facing towards you. (Just like in the picture).

Did it, still not doing great when air is on at idle. Drops down and will never go back to 13 volts on the gauge. Guess I need to try the overdrive alternator pulley since I have a crank pulley on. Not sure why all of a sudden this has happen within the last month. I just had a cam in stalled, but it was running fine for about 2 weeks after the install.
