Need Help Please!!! Whenever I stomp on the gas and get into the higher rpm ranges my lights flicker and dim and my battery gauge reads in the yellow (really low). When i let off it "floats" back to normal. But when I am stopped at a light and use my window or AC the meter dips again but not as low. What the hell could be the problem?
How many miles are on the car? Sounds like a bad alternator... but you'd think that'd cause a low reading at low RPM's... check your wiring out. If you've got a lot of stereo or anything that's dragging on the system, pm me for info on a high amp alternator for F-Bodys.

Go up to the zone and have them test your alternator.
Alternatively (sorry) you can turn the car on, let it idle, and disconnect the battery. Still running? Alternator good. Dies? Alternator bad.
