But in case you're not..A window regulator is the mechanism that is attached to the window motor that actually raises the motor. It acts in sort-of a scissor motion, where when extended it looks like an X.
To the OP..I know that they kind of suck to replace. You're going to need to take out the old rivets and then use a rivet gun to install the new rivets once you get the new reg. in. Also, you might try www.ls1howto.com
