98 rear defroster help
98 rear defroster help in the mornings when i head out to work i have dew on my back window so ill turn on the rear defroster (lil orange light comes on above button) and it helps it go away. after a couple miunets the defroster turns off by its self(orange light above button goes out)
the queston is when i go to turn it back on it wont come back on, what should i check out 1st

The fuse/circuit breaker is probably weak. Some people just replace it with a 30 AMP fuse. You can try that temporarily but I'd replace what's in there. If the power seat won't work at the same time it's inoperative that's your problem.
so the rear defroster fuse/relay might be going bad?
so when i get in the car again and turn the defroster on, when it turns its self off if my seat works what else to check, if teh seat does not work replace the fuse/relay?

the 30A breaker (large silver cube in the fuse panel) for the defogger is gong bad. replace it and it will be Better for a little while but it will still go bad quickly and trip the breaker way to easily. I put a 30 Fuse in mine when I first got my car and have not had a problem with it since.
