Question about coolant

It has been really hot around here for awhile so i decided to check my coolant. When i opened the radiator cap i noticed that it had a brown color to it. So i took out the little stick that says coolant only and I noticed that it was brown to. Is this normal

No coolant should be brown. Perhaps someone mixed some green in with the dex to top it off. I would flush it and refill it soon.

over time the coolant will look like someone emptied their septic tank into your system.

I hate Dexcool... I now use the Prestone Extended Performance Green/Yellow stuff

DEXCOOL SUCKS!!!! i really disagree with gm using dexcool yea lik coolent would really last 150,000 miles my ***, dexcool starts producing chunks of brown **** that will clog up the radiator change the cooloent asap
