Rear wheel bearing replacement question

Anyway, there is a notch in each side axle tube where it stops the bearing from moving in. You just keep hitting the bearings until they seat on these notches. Of course don't hit on the bearings directly but use something to rest on the bearing cage first, like an old bearing or the bearing race driver that you rented from Autozone.
