Lifter Issues after I installed MS4
Lifter Issues after I installed MS4 *Please Help* 6 Months ago I installed a MS4 (TSP)in my SS, I changed out the valve springs at the same time.
I babied the car for a week or two and it started ticking pretty bad.
I tore it down and dicovered a lifter had mushroomed, as well as scared up my new MS4.
I had the motor completely freshened up, put in new LS7 lifters and replaced my MS4.
About 2 weeks ago the same thing happened. I mushroomed a lifter in a different place.
What could the problem be?

I am running LS7 lifters, yeah the car misfired a lil, but mostly you could hear a slight tick. I have tore the motor down and it is for sure a lifter, but why are these lifters not holding. I want to know if anyone else has had any problems out of the MS4 or LS7 lifters. This is getting real irritating.
