question about park lights blowing up??
question about park lights blowing up?? my passenger side park light (LED amber light) on my 99 z) goes out everytime it gets wet.....and not jus does it go out it blows up??!! so i have been though 4 lights in like a week and they all sitting in my light! damn rain why would this happen is there some kind of bad seal possibly? i didnt think water could even get in there?

id say replace the whole harness, i had that exact same problem. the bulb didnt actually blow up, but it would break and crumble whenever it got wet. i changed my harness and all has been fine.

my trans am did hte same thing. i just replaced the wiring harness and it hasnt happened since. only bad thing is that damn harness from the dealership cost me 43 a piece and that is with my discount i get there
