anyone know how long the life is on a optima yellow top battery is. i have one thats about 7 years old and am starting to have voltage problems. i have a 140 amp alt and still the hotter it gets the less voltage. out of ideas had it tested test said systems good but somethings not right.

If it's not another problem I'd spring for a new one. 7 years is great - I have 25K on my car and been through the stock delco, sears diehard, and now on an optima red top.
