Default high idle

ive done a search but no clear answer for me. i just put an ls6 intake and longtube headers on. i will go drive the car and when i push the clutch in the rpms are at about 1500-1800 then slowely start to drop down to normal idle. after driving around awhile it will be fine as in i push in the clutch and it drops to normal idle right away. i shut the car off then after visiting a buddy i get in crank it up, start driving and it does it again. (same process). any ideas?

Could be a vacum leak....have you had it tuned yet? You changed enough that it may need a tune, but I suspect a vacum leak.
