a few issues
a few issues here is my situation. I am looking at possibly buying this car but I was wondering if I could some advice from you guys.
it's a 98 Z28 w/ 103000 miles, 6spd, intereior and exterior are in good shape except for a ding in the quarter and some clear peeling on the front bumper.
the only bad things about the car is I can hear a humming noise when driving it, it seems like it is coming from right in front of the firewall so I was thinking power steering the way it sounded but it does it all the time not just when turning. and there is also a squeak from the right from when on bumpy surfaces. any ideas on what these problems could be?
oh and also it's hard to get into 3rd under hard acceleration so I was curious as to how much a tranny rebuild and clutch replacement would cost?
with these problems do you guys think it would be worth 6500(which is what he is asking)?
