Tcs,brake,abs Inop
Tcs,brake,abs Inop Okay! I picked up my 98 Z two months ago. I'm having a code problem. Only after I balanced the wheels did these lights come on. I know that the code is stating it's a wheel sensor, but when it's hooked up to a Tech II the only thing it shows is a 5mph diff. wheel speed from front to back. I'm running drag lites 185 frt. / 295 rear....None of this seemed to happen until the rims were balanced. I was told this is why the cruise doesn't work either. Any help/advice would be appreciated...I've checked all the sensors for damage/checked all grounds/and traced them all back to the jumper harnesses.
If you have two different sized rims it will set off the ABS light, due to the wheels not spinning at the same rate. Since your ABS is not working correctly, you traction control won't work either. When I had my spare tire on, the brake and ABS inop light come on in my car. After I got the tire fixed and the rim back on, the lights went out.
