Default Random/ Multiple Cylinder Misfire

I need some ones expertise-My car is shooting off code PO 300..Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected.I replaced the plugs and it got worse.It feels and sounds like Im hitting the rev limiter the whole time Im driving....All I know is to check the Optispark.Anything else??? Default random misfire

Hi I have a 96 and I am getting the same code. I dont think it is the Optispark since I did replace mine as well as the wires and plugs. still showing same code I am stumped as well

You don't have any wires crossed do you? That could cause that.

With a random misfire it's a good idea to check for a vacuum leak.
