got some electrical problems i just got a 99 z28 it come with a built ls1 with the victor junior and carb on it it also has forged pistons a trex cam and a set of 5.3 heads with bigger valves and light port work . my question is do i have to use the stock computer on the car it looks like it controls the headlights and every thing and if i half to can i use the computer for the lights and ignition and use the msd 6010 for the motor . i put a battery in the car last night and tried to get it to power up the lights and every thing but it is like the car is dead no lights no beeps no power anything all my grounds are hooked up the motor is not in it yet im just trying to get the wiring figured out i have no power to any of my fuse blocks the car has been sitting for a year with no motor or trans in it could it be the vats system or a bad ecu i know its not the battery because ive tried a few others out of my other cars thanks for all the help this is my first ls1 vehicle
