replaced wiper motor, wipers won't park right
i swapped my wiper motor in my 2001 Z28.
when i turn the wipers on, they go all the way up and all the way down.
when i put it in intermittent mode, they go all the way up, all the way down, then halfway up and wait. then repeats.
when i turn it off, they come halfway up, pause, then park an inch lower.
question is, how do i align them correctly again? when i reattached the square metal thing back to the wiper motor, it wasn't keyed to a specific position or anything. what's the proper way to reattach the wiper motor linkage at the stud that comes out of the motor?
thanks in advance

what if the wipers worked fine before? only thing that changed was the motor...
motor was changed coz the fuse blew. the old motor had 12v running through the case. wipers were in park when the problem showed up.
