Throttle Help!!!

Throttle Help!!! I have a 1998 camaro ss every time I rev it up at all it stays about 1,500 rpm idling it usually stays at 1,000 rpm don't know what to do or think of anything to do PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

Take ur IAC (idle air control) motor out and spray it off with some throttle body cleaner! Also while ur doing that unplug ur battery and let the computer reset, then ur idle should return to normal!
