Cold start, car dies
I drive a '98 Z28 Camaro as my daily driver. It is all stock except for Flowmasters. The past couple of weeks have been around or below freezing outside, and several times I have started my car, only to have it die on me. It will start as usual, but after a few seconds it will slowly hit low RPMs and die, but starts back up when I turn the key again. Is this just the cold weather, or is something else up? I was thinking plugs, the car has 112k miles on it and I'm not quite sure when the spark plugs were last changed.
Another question, my speedometer likes to stick a bit. It increases in increments of like 3-4 mph, and when I stop it takes a few seconds for the speedometer to come back down to zero. Is this a problem with a guage, or sensor at the trans? Could it have anything to do with tire size, the car originally had stock 15" wheels/tires, but the previous owner put 18" Armano wheels on the car.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
