Gear shift panel not lighting up!

Gear shift panel not lighting up! Could that be a fuse, my center console gear shift all lights are out I cant see what im shifting into??? anyone know thanks so much... I love this website... the best!!!!!

Here is what I did when my light went out:
* Remove the console and follow the wires
* Twist and remove bulb holder
* Pull out bulb
* Check for markings on the bulb
* Check the bulb book in the store
* Buy a new bulb
* Reverse disassembly
I don't mean to sound like an ***, but that is what I did.
I don't remember the part number, but it comes in a 2pack and I still have the other one somewhere.
