a4 trans

a4 trans ive got a 1999 trans w/ an a4 trans with 112000 miles and its acting up. it sounds like its making a grinding noise when im sitting at a redlight but once i get on it it goes away. sometimes it gets so bad that it starts to shake the car alittle. can ayone help me with what to do.

Don't worry it's not something about to break. Let's face it our cars are getting older it would help if you'd replace the motor mounts and tranny support. They wear out with time. When at the light, if you put it on neutral it also stops right? Happens to all of them!
