need some help this is not a on a ls1 but its on a car im working on and im having some trouble with it. its a 94 cavalier well the other day it started to over heat it was really low on coolant so i filled up and such. but it seems like no matter how much you fill it still loses the coolant out of the over flow tank. now you can see a it drop on the ground. seems like it only does it when it sits after you just got done driving it. it does it on the side where the coolant recovary tank is now i did see it a little wet on the car but its seems like i cant find where its coming from.i felt the two hoses the one giong to the thermostat and the other for the water pump and they were dry. didnt really see any thing coming out from the water pump. any one got any ideas what it could be and the oil looks good and so does the coolant other thne the coolant getting low. also this is on the 2.2 engine if that helps any.

several things to check: you could have a seeping head gasket
it could have a cracked head
the thermostat could be bad
or the water pump may have rotted blades and its not circulating the water correctly.
