Oil Pressure Problems

Oil Pressure Problems MY LT1 starts to lose oil pressure under WOT and only when its warm and the oil has thinned out. the pressure is fine at idle and under normal driving conditions. It is around 60 at 2500RPMs then when I get it WOT the pressure goes to 65 then drops to 40. It also has a top end knock. All this started happening the day after I last changed my oil. Anyone have any ideas about what could be causing this?

Really? I dont think its a rod. Its very difficult to hear at idle and at any RPM past 1200. You can hear it well right at 1100 RPMs. Although it could be a rod. I am def not ruling that out.
my oil pressure is at a steady 40 off the gas or crusing and somtimes its at 30 or just above 30. I say the oil pressure is fine and normal. The knock is something you have to check out.
