Help some minor problems with my Formula. I been having some problems lately. When I come to a stop, it seems like the car wants to die, it's like the idle drops really low before jumping back up to 500rpms. Sometimes I have to keep by foot both on the gas and brake to keep the idle from going to low.
And I don't know if this is connected to the problem above, but when I'm at a stop and push the gas pedal, it hesitates for a split second before the car actually responds.

I would clean your IAC motor (as best as you can), Throttle body and MAF sensor with an intake cleaner. $5 bucks and a little of your time just might fix your problem! G/L!

I did some searching and I'm pretty sure I have a vacuum leak. When I'm driving I think I hear something coming from the engine, I'm not sure if that is the vacuum leak itself, or the belts.
But when I turn off the car, I hear this big rush of air that comes from the engine. It's like a big hiss..

I agree w/ autotrix. Clean the IAC motor. Had this problem w/ my Dodge Spirit. Cleaned it w/ AC Delco X66 carb cleaner. Car ran fine after that. The plunger was getting stuck from the dirt buildup.
