let me change my idea, can i just bolt up the old flywheel, and see if it leaks? without bolting up the clutch pressure plate or bellhousing?

It wont hurt anything...you might have some vibrations so I wouldnt let it run long, and be sure to stay the hell away from the flywheel when its running.
