Default Knock Sensor.

Ran the code and says I need a new Knock sensor. Where is this at, and how hard is it to replace? What problems will this cause?

For which car? The LS1 has 2 knock sensors, both under the intake manifold.

The code will tell you which sensor it is (front or rear), if you decide to pull the intake to replace the offender I'd replace both. The sensor replacement is easy once the intake is off. You can use the LS6 intake install writeup at www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=5 to see the sensor locations and what's involved.

The oil pressure sending unit is the must likely part you will break when you pull the maifold off.

Changing the sensors is easy, just pull the manifold off, then unscrew the sensor.

Where can I find the oil pressure sending unit? Is there any kinda gasket for the intake?

Yeah watch out for the oil pressure sensor. Also make sure you don't pinch the sensor harness somewhere when reinstalling it, and don't over torque the sensors - my helms says only 15 lb ft. Seen posts where people reuse the intake gaskets w/o a problem, but I'd replace them anyway. Edit: Posted at the same time - you can get an oil pressure sensor at the local parts store, if you're careful you won't break it. There's an individual gasket on each port, comes as a set.

Ok one more dumb question. How much would A shop charge? Not really sure I'll have time to do this.
