Default disconecting the battery?

I need to have my battery securley fastend/strapped down as a requirement to be able to drag race. I figure the only easiest way to do this is to disconnect the battery. My question is if I diconnect the battery will I get any funny codes or the radio not work or anything not work when I go to reconnect it?

After you reconnect it? No. However, if you have the security code activated on your radio, you will need to reinput that in order for the radio to work. Our cars shipped with the code disabled, so unless you enabled it, you won't have to worry about this. When the car is off, a red light will be on in the radio if the security code is enabled.

Of more concern that if the battery is disconnected for any length of time - the PCM will lose it's 'driveability settings' it will return to factory default settings. You optimum settings are re-learned, but it supposedly takes a couple hundred miles to do so...
